This scheme is similar to the lovely old "Fully Sponsored" UK schemes of the mid 60's to the 70's. But, Cadets had to repay one third of costs (up to CPL/IR) through reduced salary within the first five years with the company. Conversion Training to Company aircraft was free & unbonded. Well done Etihad and good luck to all who get involved. Shared accommodation is a worry though ! Pick your room mate !! Remember, it is the Middle East & girl/boy combinations in shared rooms is not acceptable !
