Forget the name thing, that could easily be a mistake or wrong info. The sentence that go my attention was this:
I was made to feel unwelcome in business class. It was as though a couple of the CC thought I didn't deserve to be there.
I often travelled business class in the past and I have encountered the occasional CC who seemed to think that they allowed passengers aboard their aircraft under sufference. They were very rare however, in the main, CC were polite, sometimes fun and not insulting.
There is no doubt that the mood of CC can affect that of the customers. I remember once being on the last flight of a GO aircraft before it was to be repainted in easyjet colours. The crew were due to get their new uniforms the next day. To say that the crew were sad is putting it midly. By the end of the flight, the PA's were done in tears and had a sobering effect on most of the passengers.
On that theme, Barbara Cassini seemed to have had the legs chopped from under her somewhat prematurely. I wonder if BA ever regretted their decision to get out of Loco so early?
