Emirates Aviation College
To assist in meeting the future demand for highly skilled professional airline pilots, Emirates Aviation College is pleased to announce the launch of an Ab Initio pilot training programme (JAA Licensed) in November 2011. The programme will be open to all nationalities.
The college has gathered the necessary tools, skills, support and expertise to offer training to produce the highest quality pilots for the industry. The programme will be delivered in Dubai and in Lisbon, Portugal. The ground school will take place in Dubai for seven months and the flying school will be attended in Lisbon for 10 months.
At the end of their training, cadets will obtain a frozen ATPL licence (theory) and a CPL licence with IR (instrument rating), SE (single engine) and ME (multi engine) ratings, and ICAO Language Proficiency certification. The practical part of the programme will be taught applying airline philosophy and standard operating procedures to assure the best possible training for professional airline pilots.
