but I totally agree with you. So many of my university friends went into the City after graduation simply because it pays well and their imagination extended only as far as the entrance to the recruitment Fair. None of them had expressed an interest in that heedy world of capitalist greed when we were studying human geography or 19th Century history. And even I subsequently spent 7 years working in a job that didn't grab my enthusiasm. The upside was the good terms and conditions. I escaped that existence and now I'm doing a job I fundamentally enjoy but I get treated poorly.
