Hah, very good examples of homophones! You're a fast learner, fast of course being a
homonym as opposed to a homophone. In one sense it can mean quick, as in this instance, but it can also mean to starve oneself - and they say English is a difficult language!
One could hardly describe GG as an anglophone - I believe she hails (another homonym of course) from Melbourne...
