Eurotunnel/Eurostar cost

The tunnel cost £9.5bn. Eurotunnel went bankrupt with £6.2bn debt. Eurotunnel lost £60m in 2010. Eurostar has lost £2.6bn since 1990.
UK trains are subsidised to the tune of £5bn a year.
Total cost of HS2 is £33bn.
