Safeskys’ application for ANSP accreditation is with SRG now for approval. The safety case is all done and submitted.

It is based on the provision of CAA Air Traffic Control Officers initially operating an ADC service at Dunsfold until an NDB can be installed, when GPS approaches will be introduced to upgrade the service to CAA APP. There are no plans to re-introduce radar yet.

Currently two CAA ADV/ADI ATCOs are employed in the tower and two more ADC/APP ATCOs are being recruited to supplement the team once the ANSP accreditation is approved.

When the airport is up and running with ADC, the current two ADC ATCOs will be sent on APP courses paid for by Safeskys.
