We're going elsewhere in future...
The 'Day of action' also coincides with the day most of our group
are due to fly,... Oh joy..
They've just lost 40 sectors from ourselves and another 50 from another dive centre who used them
for taking out instructor courses twice a year.
We can't use them as they've now changed the flight details for EVERYONE on
this trip to one extent or another.
The bulk is going to be headed toward TOM who offer the best charter baggage
arrangements for dive kit, and, have historically been fairly competitive on
the pricing front.
I don't want to stop using KM, it just seems they don't want passengers. I
said on another forum.....
If I book a Restaurant table for Thursday night, I don't expect the Restaurant
to send me an e-mail first saying... "Actually, we're moving your Thursday
night booking to Friday night," then, calling back a week later and saying...
"Well, you can't have Friday evening, but, we've booked Friday breakfast...Tough..."
Wouldn't you be annoyed? Especially when you have the accommodation
bookings for 15 other people to worry about....
Historically I've *tried* and tried HARD to cut them as much slack as
possible, but, the Laissez faire, may respond in 14 days (ish), e-mail only
customer service dept is making it impossible....
This is the diametric opposite of the KM I dealt with in April last year, I was
rushed back into hospital after an Appendectomy wound became infected a
week before we were due to fly out to arrange our wedding. KM were superb
with re-arranging, refunds and sorting insurance communications...
I just can't understand the fact that when you speak to someone the only
response appears to be, "Put it in an e-mail..." the unspoken bit seems to be
"...so we can ignore it."
It's a shame, but, enough chances have been given, their loss is
LH, EZY, TOM, TCK or at a push FR's gain, hell, I might even fly Alitalia again
if they fly from Manchester!
