You guys should realise by now that unless your related to someone who works for em you aint got a hope
Whilst having a connection (dad, mum, brother, sister etc) helps get your CV onto the right desk they are certainly in the minority. They still have to jump through the same hoops as everyone else. From the latest batch I would be lucky to fill a hand counting them.
The vast majority of pilots came through the usual sources. Some from integrated others modular, Aer Arran, Ryanair and the Aer Corps etc etc.
Google the chief pilot and read up on how she got into AL if you don't believe me. Absolutely no connections whatsoever and now in the big seat.
