Safety before schedule.
Not sure who coined the expression - and I don't know if its used the world over or whether its a QF created one, but I know for years it has been primarily used by QF Pilots with a genuine concern for safety. (And possibly on occasion by the odd twit as a convenient excuse)
Now, QFs wonderful marketing and spin/
PR (BS) departments are using it with utter contempt - bandying it about at every opportunity. Knowing full well that safety has nothing to do with their motives.
So now, the staff, the public - dare I say "everyone" is getting sick and tired of hearing it, because it is rapidly becoming a meaningless lie.
(Although I still have faith that tech crew don't blurt it out when they are BS'ing
)
