I couldn't get the gps to work, then tried with the Airplane Mode switch OFF. Locked on straight away.
Unfortunately with the iPhone, the Aeroplane Mode switch, when ON, not only disables the Antenna but also disables the GPS antenna. The only way to work the GPS on it is with Aeroplane Mode OFF.
