There can't be many of us who haven't (possibly unwittingly) muttered an expletive in this situation... As reported, this seems a very strange action by the airline. If he were being loud, disruptive or swearing AT someone, then that would be entirely different, but if this happened as reported, I suggest the delicate flower who took offence might be more suited to working in, shall we say, a less customer-facing role.
