LL784 was a Mk.1 and was delivered to 619 Sqdn 30 Jan 44. When lost this aircraft had a total of 127 hours. LL784 was one of two 619 Sqdn Lancasters lost on this operation. See: EE116. Airborne 20:43 11 Apr 44 from Coningsby. Both survivors were able to deploy their parachutes after being blown from the Lancaster as it exploded. Those killed were buried 14 Apr 44 at Eindhoven (Woensel) General Cemetery. S/L McGilvray an Edinburgh University Graduate had gained a Half-Blue for boxing.
