As opposed to the
direct admission of designing and building in a full stall warning system ? Did they do that just for fun on their day off, being as it wasn't in-spec ?
Those that designed the a/c
clearly knew it could stall. Whether that message got messed up between there and the people that train the pilots that fly it, is another more interesting question.
