I believe the likes of Emirates do have a preference towards Ryanair products because they are used to extremely rigid SOP's and use of automation always everywhere.

I hope Emirates reads this too. I flew with a captain who admitted he was not able to actually fly the plane anymore if push came to shove.
Said he was too used of automation to feel comfortable taking the yoke. Loved VNAV.
I admire the fact he was able to admit this. And believe me he was serious.
I also believe there are many more just like him who won't admit it.
