Emirates has left a few Qatar guys hanging saying they would interview guys once they had a copy of the resignation letter.
The policy changed to 12 months after leaving Qatar on the
12th JUNE 2011.
Not to blame EK but this agreement was probably proposed by QR as so many good guys are leaving Qatar.
Etihad is now looking for any B777 or Boeing guys and they don't have such a stupid agreements, EK lost is EY gain. You will get a interview without having to resign
