All we said was that if we wanted a much,
much bigger Navy - and obviously some beneficial spending increases for the junior services to boot - all we had to do was appoint you head of the Diplomatic Corps, and after a couple of days of diplomacy Wide-Style
, we'd have all the defence budget we wanted.
I note Madge has finally appointed Pip head of the Navy....which is a start in the right direction.
