I recall that some time ago the question arose of how many hours the software was used for without change and without serious incident.
On that occasion there was much waffling and evasiveness – I do not recall a definitive answer.
C240 now gives us that answer and the expected bluster and obfuscation is disgorged from the airworthiness flock.
To that enormous number of hours I add that not only was there no evidence of a FADEC problem in this crash but, as I have described previously, that snapshot state preserved by the impact showed definitively that the engine management system had been performing normally.
