Is it still grossly unairworthy?
If the code being used has not been written, checked and cleared in accordance with the UK Military Airworthiness Regulations, then yes it is unairworthy. Even if gross errors that were in it at RTS, causing uncommanded power ups, downs and engine shut downs have been resolved, thus ensuring your 221,000 hours of presumably (?) no airworthiness related incidents, it would still be unairworthy. As tuc says, no accidents doesn't mean it is airworthy.
