Continental Airlines in Texas has an inexpensive deal for a 737-200 rating inclding transportation from anywhere in the US they fly (ie you can fly to whichever major city is cheapest and they ferry you to Houston and back). Cost is slightly under $7000 (plus 2 weeks hotel and food)

Note that in the US I believe the -200 and -300 share a type rating. Also they can give you training and ride on the -300 or -300EFIS for about $1000 more.


Might be a bit overkill since you have lots of time in the bird, but haven't seen much in less time and likely cheaper than any course you could get by calling FlightSafety......
