Just out of curiosity, does that come from I hate ##### website?

The reason I ask, I came back from Qatar feeling just as the poster, but not for the same reasons, although some common threads can be found.

In the interest of fairness, I bailed out 7 years ago, pre-Asian Games and all the development. I did work for QR, but not as a Pilot or Cabin Crew, I gave it 3 months only. It took a further 3 months to get an exit visa, but that was all my fault!

I would maintain, Doha is the worst place I have ever lived, yet I still had (not many to be fair) some very good times there. Some of the Aviation people I relocated with are still there, making the most of it and making it work for them.

The poster you quote seems clear they are American, it also seems apparent they did no homework.

To post a third party post, on an anon forum does seem a little bit harsh mate, especially as the quoted post has further editing.

Anyone who is not a Rock Star, Purser or Training Capt. in the making, do your homework before dreaming of the perfect lifestyle, does that seem a fair comment?

To all who know me in QR, safe flying guys.
