They are sold and marketed as Aer Lingus flights, and there is no way to purchase them as RE flights, so I consider them EI, as such. My experience is that RE operated EI flights do tend to be more expensive than EI operated services. That said, none of the routes I fly on (ex ORK) have any direct competition these days, same is true ex SNN and most DUB routes.
IIRC GLA is operated by an ORK based AT7? Wonder what they will use that for.
