What I had posted regarding the current and previous owners in that they are/were screwed by the DDB's was a possibility. Another possibility is what you had mentioned in your post, which I had also previously posted. They provide the support/back up since they have the money and the power of WASTA. This latter issue is becoming the more likely situation as PJ scandals are being brought to the surface with such a force that would wake up the dead, let alone a dumb owner. Therefore, I have to agree with you that they can only be partners in their crimes in a corrupt outfit in a state of lawlessness. And yes, employees are always the victims in such cases.
