When AIPA speak to the media, perhaps they should drop the 'Capt' and go with a more humble 'pilot representative'
Whilst I agree that it its a mark of respect and it is a longstanding achievement and in the right place it use is important (on-board the plane 'this is your Captain' is very reassuring) But its use in the papers just seems a tad overbearing (not that I'm trying to insinuate anything about Woodward or Jackson, I have the greatest respect for them.)
Remember public support and perception are important. Some Families a whining and moaning about the freezing of the indexing FBT. Others are living on $50,000. Buisness men don't want to have their travel interrupted for some 'Prima Donnas' on $500k pa. Until the pay claim is dropped the 26% pay rise explained in simple terms by AIPA the
PR campaign is dead in the water.
