No you can't do your recency in DA-42, if you done your training in different multi engine.
And a Seneca I from Canada, registered in INDIA 4 days back, but its status of C of A is yet to come online on DGCA website.
Wait for it.
If you want to do 10 hours add on in DA-42, you can do it at your own risk because at one hand they said to me, they will accept 10 hours from multi who is registered in INDIA and Its C of A is valid and other hand they said to my friend that you have to give technical exam as well for other multi in which your are doing 10 hours.
I recommend you please have word with DGCA first before doing any thing.
