In fact, if there were a PCRuNE (Professional Cleaners Ru... etc etc) I'm sure they would be concerned that their previously successful company is now seen to be fighting for life.
Absolutely. Many Qantas ground workers are horrified at the way the company is going and many more are uncertain about their future. That includes rampies, cleaners, caterers et al. In the bigger ports at least these are not all contracted positions. Q Catering still employs thousands of people, as do the Ramp Services and Customer Service departments. Qantas has many ordinary workers who are proud to tell people they work for Qantas and by and large work hard and effectively for the airline.

The company has generally repayed all that by shafting them, threatening them with lay-offs and contractors every time there's a ticket sales drop (which is hardly the fault of the ground workers), failing to support them in the press (particularly the baggies) and generally treating the whole lot like three-day old prawn shells. Any crap the pilots and/or engineers fling at other Qantas staff pales into insignificance when compared to the crap that's spouted daily by Qantas management poppets.

If you think it's only pilots and engineers that are concerned about Qantas management then you need to get out and talk to a few more Qantas workers. They are singing from the same song sheet, some of them right here on PPRuNe.
