Re BE-76: I spoke to Capt Singh who is the operator for VT-EJR and he confirmed that the a/c has been grounder for the last 2.5 years due to a belly landing by one of its pilots. He said that it will take a minimum of 6 months before the aircraft can be back into action. However, all this depends on how quickly the Govt. of Bihar would release funds to repair this aircraft. I dont think the problem of the BE-76 can be solved anytime soon.
