No, actually it was the Spitfire L.F. Mk Vc:
Clipped - reduced wingspan to improve rate of roll at low level.
Cropped - supercharger impeller modified to suit low level operations.
Clapped - most of them were modified after a pretty hard previous existence!
A nice IWC commercial! Bit of a brassy Yank woman though, definitely not in the same class as a certain well-appreciated 'Section Officer'
