Whilst you are correct Tandem, to put it another way there are plenty of internal bids for the 747 but many are still within their 5 year engagement freeze.
BA may decide to unfreeze some, but in many ways it is cheaper to recruit a DEP onto the 747 and maintain the freezes.
Rumours of yet more 747's returning from the desert, so the number required may well increase...
