I prefer destroy It during testing than in real operation. And you can increase the pulses adaptively observing the test results. I suspect the a/c manufacturers just check compliance to rules, etc. I donīt like this.

Impressive information; In one mission of STS they studied the phenomena with impressive findings. Very long bolts, etc. Frightening.
