Lots of airfields in Czech Republic have a small restaurant right on the property. When ordering, keep in mind that portions may come twice as big as you expect.
And if anyone goes to Thailand, do yourself a favour and check out the
Thai Flying Club at Bang Phra (about halfway from Bangkok to Pattaya). The place looks like it's still 1950s (or maybe 1930s?).
You can have lunch right at the club, sipping a coke from a classic glass bottle, sitting on a veranda with a backup TWR radio on one of the tables (and a squawk box hanging on a pillar, of course), a hammock in the corner with the chief mechanic dozing in it, and dozens of thin cats swarming around.
Their airfcraft rental rates are fairly low, too. In September 2009 I rented a Beech Musketeer for an equivalent of £100 per hour (wet). You can stay overnight at the club, too; the rooms are quite rustic but extremely cheap.
