To put it in perspective, Wasaya AW in N. Canada are still operating the aircraft I started my career on in 1966 at the age of 20. I have retired - the aircraft hasn't.
Indeed they are. I spent 2 years flying them in and out of 3500' gravel strips in Northern Ontario. It was great experience and a fun airplane to fly. Wasaya has four aircraft in operation and there are just over a dozen flying both freight and passengers all across Northern Canada.
And they aren't the oldest large aircraft flying around the North!
