I know there is no CBI involved, but there definately is unrest in the DGCA caused by the watchful eye of the media. The babus are answerable too you know.
I actually think of the DGCA as quite a capable and efficient group of people. Its just that the staff shortage has left their hands full and you need to nudge them to keep your file on top of the pile.
My only complaint about them is that they need a correpondance department, and the paperwork involved could be a lot simpler. But I guess they are already working on it too.
I still insist we all should be taking regular rounds to the DGCA office and be attending the open house sessions.
