thank goodness for a rumors then, 2 inside sources and 2 differing statements.
Both sources gave correct information - they just gave it at different times.
It is true, that, up until a month or so ago, the intention was to bring twins back into the fleet. Exactly which twin hadn't been decided, but was generally thought to be King Air.
At the moment however, the thinking has swung away from King Airs - which is understandable given the effort and expenditure involved in phasing them out.
There is still an intention to bring some twins back in. But the question of type has gone back to being very open.
