I understand it was asked that the engineers be allowed to pay up & join the club like every other citizen who wishes to.I understand staff cannot use it at all.(unless you are in the top rung of execs I guess).
It is not high on my list but what the hell.

The 6 weeks leave is I understand for permanent shift workers.Currently 5 weeks.Having worked permanent shift for decades I would cherish the extra time with the kids.
Not high on my list but if pay rises cannot be extracted better conditions maybe sought.
Put it this way, if you do not ask, you will never, ever get it.
Regardless of the above 'nice to haves' the job security issues need to be put on the table.
