Just a warning to all: I recently had a very pleasant interview experience at EK. Unfortunately I was not accepted.
Thanks to a previous poster, I went in with some knowledge of the sim and can say I rocked it to the break of dawn. This guy erroneously stated that it alone would get you a job at EK. Wrong! However, lack of study on the ATP section of the Compass section may have did me in. Study up on RNP, Mach Buffet, and other Overwater flight considerations and you will be OK.
Also, don't forget that the tests are timed, and that if you finish quickly, the first question they will ask you in the panel is: "It appears you react without thinking, TMAAT you had to make a careful decision!" This is you now, on the defensive.
Overall, wish I had the job. Anything is better than regional hell in the USA, where the only certainty is bankruptcy and paycuts!
