Seems my mate read about it in one of the crash mags - he seems to recall townsfolk somewhere reported it because it kept
landing in town to fill up!
Anyway, it looks like it's been lost in the annals of time, so probably not worth pursuing.
There was another incident I've been told about relating to a guy having a bet that he could fly under a certain bridge even though his wingspan was greater than the bridge span - said individual rolled on edge to pass under - apparently denied all knowledge when the CAA turned up - "not me mate - my a/c wouldn't fit!" - anybody remember the details?
