I don't agree with you on the fact that if you think that you are not treated as a professional you will not act as a professional...
If you are a professional you always try to act as a professional.
But if you are frustrated to see other pilots in other companies paid more than you then try to make it happen in yours or leave and join another company BUT deciding to burn more fuel because you don't get a pay rise can not in anyway seen as a professional behavior
