Aer Lingus held a seminar at the FLYER show.
On the topic of cadet schemes (and specifically the MPL), Malachy O'Curry stated that the MPL isn't particularly relevant to them as they don't do cadetships.
(The following isn't verbatim, but gives the gist of it)
"If we did [do cadetships], which we might, or might not, then we would, or wouldn't select the MPL, although it remains a possibility, or doesn't, but if it did happen then it would, or wouldn't, be sometime in the near, or distant, future (or past)."
