Damn, why didn't I spot that.

That did the trick, although I didn't need to put a card in,just plug the unit into the laptop's USB port.

Created my route in Navbox, selected File>Export Existing Route As>GPX

Then saved to Garmin>GPX>Aviation and lo and behold my route was on the GPS.

Thanks, should have worked that out for myself, but appreciate the steer.


I suspect that importing tracks from the GPS and transferring W&CG and other data is pressing my luck, but that's the single biggest thing I wanted to do.
