Hey Gaz! Howz tricks?
To all those about to attend stage 2, before I went to stage 2 I'd have thought that Crazy Voyager's advice wasn't detailed enough but I now know the most important preparation is being in top form from start to finish.
The only other
(minor) tip I can think of would to maybe do some logic puzzles, crosswords or sudoku in the days and hours leading up to the tests just to get your brain warmed up.
If I were to relay what I've personally learned from this experience I would say
do not travel 400 miles by bus the day before
, definitely get more than 2 to 3 hours sleep
, don't skip breakfast
,
find a taxi driver who knows where you're going
, and whatever you do don't panic during the test when things seem to be going wrong
(and unless you're a super genius they will go wrong from time to time
).
(Also, I try to bear in mind that I'll know better for next year.)
The up side of travelling by bus was that I saved a fortune
and I met a really nice Irish girl on the return leg who seemed to think I was funny

.
Good luck to everyone who is going and who has gone.
