If you are a foreign applicant you must first prove to the FAA the need for you have an A&P. Letters from N-Reg owners or that the company you work for handle N-Reg. To sit the exams you must have a letter of approval to test from your local FSO. The exams themselves are a breeze after the hoops have been jumped through. All the question bank with answers are published so 80% of it is a memory exercise!!!!!
