I got through the selection process about 10 days ago and I can confirm that they dont want you to know much about Dubai, Islam or even Emirates itself!
I did my sim in the A310 which is the way they want it to go as they are so short of 777 drivers and they need the sims for type ratings rather than assesment.
Have plenty of compentency based answers prepared preferably within a flying scenerio. Be yourself at the interview! I know this sounds obvious but for your own good just do it. I even told them about an up comiing sim check with the a national and still passed the interview, otherwise the repetative phsyc tests will catch you out!
Oh and Im also short on hours by about 50 and they did state that they would not offer a contract until the minimum hours had been reached.
