Broome's a problem for the whole TCAS separation idea as there isn't anybody or equipment on the airport capable of testing if the XPNDR is even working...
I know of at least one near miss between a 210 and an E-jet right near the boundary. Neither knew about the other until the jet made its inbound call at 30NM alerting the CAGRO and 210 driver to the conflict, which as it turned out was 2.5NM and no vertical. No TA or RA was given...
