Le 1er octobre 2000, M. Bruno Guimbal, chef de service au bureau d'étude d'Eurocopter de Marignane, a quitté son emploi pour créer Helicoptères Guimbal et construire son tout petit hélicoptère baptisé " Cabri ".
D'après les études de marché le " Cabri " pourrait conquérir un tiers du marché mondial évalué à 250 engins par an.
La société basée sur l'aérodrome d'Aix-Les-Milles compte aujourd'hui 4 salariés et passera à huit au cours du premier trimestre 2001.
Bruno Guimbal est lauréat du 1er concours national d'aide à la création d'entreprises de technologies innovantes.

Mr. Bruno Guimbal, head of service at the engineering and design department of Eurocopter de Marignane, its employment left to create Helicoptères Guimbal and to build its very small helicopter baptized "CABRI".
