I hate to be one who pees in the punch....but "Who" pays for this Gala? Is this a "family affair" thus all this is out of the "Royal" purse and not by the common folk who pay the taxes?
Being an ex-colonial Cousin with ties to Nottinghamshire....and certainly not even remotely related to anything Royal....my thoughts is Mum should open her Her checkbook and pick up the Tab.
