If you trawl through C: drive, documents and settings, your identity, application data, identities, click on folder, you should find outlook express. In there is the inbox folder inbox.dbx. With OE closed change the .dbx to .old or something and restart OE. That will let OE get going again at least. You can always undo it by deleting the fresh inbox.dbx OE will create and renaming the .old file back again.
