Qantas and Virgin don't hire pilots with a CASA ATPL issued against an overseas ATPL. The regional airlines don't seem to care.
beg to differ, but I know of a few pilots employed by both QF and DJ with converted licences, as well as TT and JQ!
personally, I would apply to them anyway and see what happens. I am sure that you will be fine.
