Northwest Airlines 757-300
I've heard rumors that Northwest is going to return their 757-300. Again, as far as I'm concerned this is a rumor, and there is really no hard/credible evidence to support it. The aircraft was returned to Renton, and the titles covered up on the 7th of this month. Was it just in for maintenance?
Personally, I believe that Northwest would have a great use for the 757-300, considering they really don't have any aircraft in its category (i.e. 767-200). They need something to support the medium-ranged (cross-country) flights, with about a pax load of 230 or so. I think the 753 would be a prime choice. Let me know what you think guys.
