I think BA will get back into the ab initio business. But not in the same way as before. It will be a partial sponsorship and run out of house by CTC or OAA.
I also think it will be a lot smaller scheme than in the past. They have hundreds of cadets sending in their CV's from other large UK airlines who all fit the early to mid 20's bright young thing profile. Being type rated and line checked mean they pose near zero training risk.
But BA being BA I'm sure they'll want to run their own modestly sized but premium places cadetship scheme. All part of being a good Corporate business etc. etc.
